Privacy Policy

Videos you open in the demo

The online demo reverses your clip using WebCodecs, the video decoder and encoder built into your own browser. When you pick or drop in a file, the browser reads it straight from your device into that decoder. The video is never sent to us or to anyone else — there is no server here that could receive it, and the page works the same way whether or not you are online after it has loaded.

The same applies to the reversed MP4 you save: the file is produced inside your browser and written to your downloads by your browser. We never see it, never store it, and have no copy of it to delete.

What is stored on your device

The demo stores nothing on your device. It keeps no history of the clips you reverse, writes nothing to local storage, and sets no cookies of its own. Closing the tab discards everything, including the reversed video, unless you saved it yourself.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and guides people actually read. It tells us things like "this many people opened the slow motion guide from Google search this week". It sets cookies in your browser and Google processes your IP address to work out an approximate location — typically city level, and Google discards the full address rather than storing it.

We do not use this to identify you, do not build advertising profiles, and do not sell or share the data. If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on, and any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics will keep this site working normally. None of this touches the demo — analytics never sees your video, because the video never leaves your device in the first place.

Advertising

There are no ads on this website and no advertising or fingerprinting scripts on any page. If that ever changes, this policy and its date change first.

Hosting and server logs

The site is static and served by a shared web host. Like any web server, it may keep standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested and the browser user agent — for security and diagnostics. These logs are not used to profile you and are not combined with anything from the demo or from analytics.

Fonts

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google may log those requests as described in its own privacy policy. Nothing about your videos is involved.

Links to the app stores

The download buttons lead to Google Play and the Apple App Store. Once you follow one, that store's own privacy policy applies to what happens there.

Your rights

Because this site holds no account and no personal profile, there is normally nothing of yours for us to hand over or erase. If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe we hold data about you, write to the address below and we will answer within one month, as the GDPR requires.

Children

This website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
